PRACTICE AREAS
Whistleblower/Retaliation
Whistleblowers are protected against retaliation under state and federal laws.
Employees who report a violation of the law are protected against retaliation by the Minnesota Whistleblower Act, the Minnesota Human Rights Act, and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, among others. If you a report a violation of civil or criminal law to your employer, including acts of fraud, discrimination, or failure to accommodate a disability, you may have a claim for retaliation if your employer retaliates against you.
