Wrongful Termination
Wrongful termination deserves a strong advocate.
If you are an at-will employee, employers can terminate your employment for a good reason, a bad reason, or no reason at all—but not because of your sex, race, disability, age, religion, color, national origin, familiar status, sexual orientation, or other protected classes.
If you experienced discrimination based on any of these categories, and you believe your termination was motivated by bias, you may have a wrongful termination claim.
Employers are also prohibited from retaliating against you for reporting discrimination or a violation of law. If you experience retaliation for these reasons, you may have a reprisal or whistleblower claim.
